UX Researcher- Contract- Foster City, Ca 4 days onsite 1 day remote Interview: 2 rounds- 2nd round will be required to do a presentation As a contracting UX Researcher, you will help guide design, product, and engineering teams in developing a suite of tools that support a large internal workforce. You will play a pivotal role in building personas for internal user groups, ideating on unified solutions, and helping cross-functional partners solve the right problems, not just their symptoms. In This Role You Will Lead kick-off meetings with cross-functional teams, using collaborative methods to uncover the root problem and align stakeholders. Select the right research methods (such as diary studies, observations, interviews, and workflow diagramming) to understand users and company representatives and address their primary and secondary needs. Conduct research that clarifies how internal users work and surfaces unmet needs and pain points, guiding tool development and organizational changes that improve operational efficiency and advance company goals. Deliver insights with clear narrative framing to guide immediate changes, team vision, and roadmap decisions. Present findings and recommendations to improve user experiences, advocate for users in cross-functional meetings, and challenge assumptions that are not in users' best interest. Manage the expectations and interests of diverse stakeholders while maintaining a human-centered approach.
